Cars with Wi-Fi Already Part of Present

General Motors announced that seven U.S. Chevrolet models are able to incorporate a wireless internet connection, making it a point of access to 3G networks.

The Chevrolet Wi-Fi by Autonet Mobile is the system that allows the automaker to incorporate a series of models, expanding the possibilities of internet access to hidden places.

If users could now enjoy connections in bars, airports and airplanes, to name a few variants, the new system opens an unprecedented way.

The system allows the user to connect into the car and up to 50 feet away. Chevrolet Wi-Fi by Autonet Mobile is a wireless access point to 3G networks, which allows sharing the connection with conventional Wi-Fi speeds of 1.5Mbps.

The price is $ S199 installed from the factory, but will amount to $ s399 in stores. The price of connectivity is u $ s29.

Avalanche, Equinox, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe and Traverse are the models that have the system time.
