Spain, the head of wireless networking in Europe

It is clear from a study conducted by YouGov for Cisco consultants in ten European countries on the use of Internet and wireless networks at home, Spain is the country where more wireless connections are used (74%), exceeding the European average (64%).


In addition, the Spanish saying they use wireless Internet connections, 85% said having a secure connection - while the Germans are Europe's most security conscious with 96% --

Furthermore, the bedroom (72%), the living room (64%) and dining (42%) are the places where the Spanish used by most home networks.

Most respondents in all countries involves the use of social networks among their most common activities, although in the case of Spain, representing a 62%, this activity is below e-mail (95%) and surf Internet (93%).

The study notes that Ceuta, Melilla, Balearic Islands and Andalusia are the regions most secure wireless, while shopping over the Internet is a very common activity in Andalusia, Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Castilla La Mancha, Ceuta, Comunidad Valenciana, Extremadura, Galicia and Melilla.

Finally, specify that the devices connected to wireless networks are the most common desktop and laptop computers (80%), and that half of respondents would consider buying a TV, if it could connect to your existing home network and even the Internet.
